About Us

About FM Indonesia Forum 2026

The FM Indonesia Forum 2026 marks the official introduction of the International Facility Management Association (IFMA) to Indonesia. Held under a strategic Memorandum of Understanding between IFMA Global and OCS Indonesia as the appointed local organiser, this inaugural Forum brings IFMA’s global standards and insights to one of Asia’s fastest-growing economies.
The Forum highlights Facility Management as a professional discipline and strategic sector essential to Indonesia’s next stage of development. As organizations respond to rapid urbanization, infrastructure expansion, industrial growth, and new workplace expectations, the need for world-class FM capabilities has never been greater.
With global shifts in digitalization, AI, ESG, decarbonization, and inclusive workplace design transforming how buildings are operated, this Forum provides Indonesia with a dedicated platform to learn from IFMA’s international expertise and build a strong, future-ready FM sector and its community. A professional FM ecosystem is vital to Indonesia’s growing economy: supporting investment, enhancing infrastructure performance, improving workforce productivity, and enabling organizations across all sectors to operate with greater resilience, efficiency, and sustainability.

Ground Rules

Guideline: How to Engage with The Forum

The Next Wave of Facility Management in Indonesia
28 January 2026 | Shangri-La Jakarta

The FM Indonesia Forum 2026 is designed as a full-day professional journey, not a series of standalone sessions. To gain the greatest value, participants are encouraged to engage with the Forum as an integrated learning and leadership experience.

How to Collect Your Lanyard

  • Participants must complete the registration process prior to the event.
  • Upon arrival, participants are required to register and check in by presenting their QR Code at the registration counter.
  • The lanyard will be provided by the event committee after successful check-in.

How to Receive Your E-Certificate

  • Participants are required to attend the conference until the event concludes.
  • After the event, participants must exchange their physical badge at the designated exchange counter.
  • The e-certificate will be issued accordingly after the badge exchange process is completed.

Guideline: Conference Do & Dont’s

Approach the Forum as a Connected Journey

Each keynote, expert session, and panel is intentionally sequenced. Discussions build progressively from:
  • National and institutional direction
  • To global professional standards
  • To operational execution
  • And finally, to long-term economic value
Remaining for the full programme enables deeper understanding, as later sessions build on insights introduced earlier in the day.

Engage Beyond Technical Perspectives

This Forum frames Facility Management not only as building operations, but as a strategic operating system that influences:
  • Productivity and safety
  • Asset performance and lifecycle value
  • Workforce wellbeing and inclusion
  • Investor and stakeholder confidence
Participants are encouraged to engage from both operational and leadership perspectives.

Listen for Application, Not Just Ideas

Speakers and panellists are invited to focus on real-world execution.

As a participant, consider:
  • What data matters at site level
  • How technology reduces risk when governed well
  • How ESG and inclusion are experienced in daily operations
  • How FM leaders communicate value to boards and CFOs

Use the Forum to Build Cross-Sector Dialogue

The Forum brings together leaders from government, business chambers, real estate, investors, service providers, and professional bodies.

Participants are encouraged to:
  • Exchange perspectives across sectors
  • Identify where policy and execution disconnect
  • explore how standards and discipline close those gaps

Come Prepared to Reflect and Contribute

To maximise value, participants are encouraged to reflect on:
  • How Facility Management supports long-term organisational value
  • Why wellbeing and inclusion affect productivity and trust
  • How professional standards build confidence and resilience
  • What “success” should look like in an emerging market context

Engage as Part of a Growing Professional Community

The FM Indonesia Forum 2026 marks the beginning of a professional FM journey in Indonesia, aligned with global standards and practice.

Your participation contributes to shaping:
  • Professional capability
  • Governance maturity
  • And the future relevance of Facility Management in Indonesia’s economy

The Gala Dinner

The Gala Dinner is a closed leadership dialogue, not a ceremonial event. It serves as a strategic integration forum where:
  • Policy meets practice
  • Capital meets operations
  • International standards meet local realities.
Discussions are designed to test ideas explored during the day at leadership level.

Others and information

The FM Indonesia Forum 2026 is designed to accommodate strong interest from across industries. The initial 500 full-day conference seats are supported through the Forum’s sponsorship and venue arrangements.
If registrations exceed this number, the Organising Committee will continue to welcome additional participants up to the maximum venue capacity of 1,000 attendees. For participants beyond the first 500, a direct conference cost of IDR 900,000 per person will apply, reflecting the actual hotel and hospitality cost.
This adjustment ensures that all attendees receive the same conference experience while allowing the Forum to remain inclusive, professionally managed, and financially responsible. There is no mark-up applied by the Organising Committee.
